The women's lacrosse team got off to a quick start this year, disposing of Robert Morris 16-15 in their opening game of the season. Though down three goals with less than ten minutes left in the game, Saint Mary's rallied behind the scoring of junior Jackie Spencer and newcomer Kim Reny, who netted the game-winning goal. The Gaels are now 1-0 and hope to build on their victory this Saturday when they take on UC Davis at Davis at 11 a.m.
