A city so vile and classless-
Their arrogance masked as bold.
Now pitiful, silent masses
Waiting for unlikely gold.
Tears in the eyes of the Cuban
Tell tales of failing pursuits;
Jeers, they almost seem inhuman,
As if they deny their roots.
But more wond'rous is the glory
Of Warriors taking charge;
It's such an unlikely story:
Small trampling over the large.
Their arrogance masked as bold.
Now pitiful, silent masses
Waiting for unlikely gold.
Tears in the eyes of the Cuban
Tell tales of failing pursuits;
Jeers, they almost seem inhuman,
As if they deny their roots.
But more wond'rous is the glory
Of Warriors taking charge;
It's such an unlikely story:
Small trampling over the large.
