Nancy Pelosi is irresponsible

Democrats, for the first time in over a decade are in control of Congress.
And they have already shown why they do not deserve to be re-elected.
It would be so much wiser for Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid to be moderate, responsible, and patriotic in their leadership roles.
They are pandering to the vocal, but fringe extreme anti-war crowd. Pelosi and Reid are listening to the few who advocate a pullout from Iraq immediately.
Most Americans are not too ecstatic about the Iraq war, but that is not the same as wanting us to pull out now.
Most Americas want our troops to be supported, do well, and to turn Iraq into a more stable place. Pelosi and Reid are making a big miscalculation by being so radical.
Pelosi in particular is over playing her hand. Just because she is the first female Speaker, she thinks that she has been elected President.
Her poor judgment goes beyond her actions in regard to Iraq. When she went to Syria she was a loose cannon, basically making up her own foreign policy.
Pelosi misrepresented the position of Israel to Syria in a wired attempt to be a peace maker. Israel then had to publicly correct Pelosi's error; it was an embarrassing incident for Pelosi, but also for America.
Pelosi has also wasted weeks on an Iraq War spending bill that requires the U.S. to retreat from Iraq.
Not only is that bad in itself, but Pelosi also had to buy votes for the bill by stuffing it with hundreds of millions of dollars in earmarks (keep in mind that the democrats ran on a platform against just this).
Then, when the doomed Iraq spending bill was passed by the house and before it was sent to Bush for a veto, Pelosi held a signing ceremony for the bill.
Basically, Pelosi was playing dress up and acting like she was the President of our great United States.
While Pelosi and Reid waste time in Washington scoring political points our troops are being hampered by actions of Democrats in Congress.
While the surge is helping to situation in Iraq, the Democrats want to surrender to the terrorists.
This is not going to be a winning formula for Congressional Democrats in the next election cycle.
The people hoping the most that Reid and Pelosi have their way are the very terrorists we are fighting.
