The stigma around country music has been truly fulfilled with Brad Paisley's song "Ticks." Perhaps the most redneck song ever conceived, the song stories a guy who uses the pickup line, "I'd like to check you for ticks." Perhaps it is closed-minded to think this is not a romantic line, but the overly catchy country song has surpassed the normal bounds of acceptable back-country ideology in other country songs. So just think the next time you go walking through a field of wild flowers, "You never know where one might be/There's lots of places that are hard to reach/I gotcha."
