The men's rugby team continued to be one of the top teams in the country this year. They advanced to the Elite Eight in the Men's Collegiate Division I tournament due to a comeback win over #2 Army in the last four minutes of the Sweet Sixteen game.

Overall, their record on the year was 17-3 with two of those losses coming from #1 Cal and the other from #3 Navy.

At one point, men's rugby was ranked as high as #3 in the country. After the season, they finished at #5.

The women's tennis team had one of their best seasons in program history. Starting off the season with a 10-game winning streak, they finished second in conference with a 10-2 record, their only losses coming from #19 Pepperdine. At the end of their season, they garnered eight individual conference awards.

On the year, the women's tennis team finished 17-4, posting seven shutouts, three of which were against rival Santa Clara. They finished with a final ranking of #55 in the country.
